Ideally located in the heart of the Porteau forest, just steps from the ocean and the coves of Cayola Bay, this Zen-style villa, designed by architect Philippe Rizzotti, emerges from the pine and holm oak forest. Clad entirely inside and out in plywood, it boasts a minimalist and understated style. From the initial design, everything has been considered for your comfort. The bedrooms all face east to welcome the rising sun. The living areas open to the south and west to enjoy the warmth and light until sunset.

Each of the 4 levels that make up Villa Cayola offers a different world.

The villa is adjacent to your hosts' villa, respecting your privacy; our living spaces are separate, and the indoor pool and sauna are entirely dedicated to you.

the mineral

The first level, designed in a Wabi-Sabi style, exudes a resolutely intimate, humble, and natural spirit. The mild temperatures, both summer and winter, in this semi-underground space accentuate the cozy feeling of this "Mineral" floor. Here you will discover "La Nuage" (The Cloud), a double bedroom with an oriental touch and its own shower room; "La Sûki" (The Sûki), a Zen-inspired double bedroom; "La Cabane" (The Cabin), a playful children's dormitory; a spacious shower room; and a toilet.

the vegetal

The ground floor features a more contemporary design with the introduction of large birch plywood panels that clad the walls, ceilings, furniture, and showers. The minimalist design is elegant, functional, and welcoming, with a focus on single-material construction: wood. It includes two twin bedrooms, each with its own shower room, named "Black" and "Blue," a relaxation lounge facing the forest, and a WC. A long corridor leads to the "Beach" level: the indoor pool and Finnish sauna.

the beach

A spa-like atmosphere pervades this pool, clad in wood from floor to ceiling. The indoor pool is heated year-round. Its 10-meter length allows for swimming laps. Behind a glass door lies an intimate Finnish sauna for two, and behind a wooden door, a restroom. Finally, a south-facing solarium completes the experience. An exterior staircase leads to the 80-square-meter rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean and the treetop canopy.

the canopy

Higher up, in the canopy, awaits a 70m² open-plan space comprising a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and lounge. Beyond a large bay window, you access the 80m² rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. The outdoor kitchen will allow you to delight your guests during the summer months.
